The EMP Conspiracy

An electromagnetic pulse (commonly abbreviated EMP) is a burst of electromagnetic radiation. The abrupt pulse of electromagnetic radiation usually results from certain types of high-energy explosions, especially a nuclear explosion, or from a suddenly fluctuating magnetic field. The resulting rapidly changing electric fields and magnetic fields may couple with electrical/electronic systems to produce damaging current and voltage surges
This reminds me of on the matrix when they have to push the EMP to kill the sentinels who are robotic machiney things that are chasing them, which like...turns them off, or I guess kills their power source.

Well I have experienced EMP's in my own life...in my dating life.

Let me explain...

Lately I have been enhancing my flirting...something quite hard for me but hey I'm doing it kind of YaY go me! and thusly I have had a couple of guys ask for my number promising future dates. Then I get calls from friends and family members saying that I shouldn't freak out if someone I dont know calls me and asks me out on a date because they gave someone my number. Ok cool, I am so ok with that.

So a few months have passed and no phone calls...
Which leads me to believe....

Theory 1: EMP Conspiracy:

That their is some sort of Love - Electro Magnetic Pulse that is interfering with the phone waves, blocking all incoming calls from potential suitors.  Who really are calling and calling but can't seem to reach me....
Who is causing these EMPs?!! I will find you with my ninja skills, track you down and...ask you kindly to stop.

Or my other theory

Theory 2:  The Body Snatcher Conspiracy

That after they asked for my number they went home they thought "What did I just do?" and changed their minds and realized they didn't actually want to date me but something seized upon their minds in a moment of frenzy that made them unwillingly askfor my number, only to be ashamed once they came to their senses. But then they decide that asking for a number  and not going on the date isn't necessarily rejection since they haven't officially asked me on the date, so they decide to just forget about it and pretend like it never happened.

Or

Theory 3: I watch too many movies and my theories are ridiculous, and its probably actually really normal.
