I went to the BYU production of The picture of Dorian Gray
All of a sudden, a wild Pirate appeared, so obviously I slap Shannon's arm and say "PIRATE!" so she looks and see's him and waves him over to sit with us.
-sooo actually he is not a pirate, he was one of the pirates in Peter Pan and I am really terribly bad with remembering names--
so Shannon reminds me his name is Taylor
Basically this is a funny story because of what happened next, are you ready?
Mallory sees the back of his shirt which says "I did" and she exclaims "I did" while pointing at the back of his shirt. I notice, but Pirate doesn't so I say "Taylor what does the front of your shirt say?" so he turns around and its a tree with pears on it and it says "Did you grow a pear?" and then subsequently the back says "I did" and I laughed politely and said "very clever" and then he says that he grows pears at home.
ok here's the fun part
so he starts talking about these pears that he grows at home and how they are hard and kind of nasty and so they cook them and have to put Cinnamon candy --i think he said hot tamales or something like that---in with them to make them taste better, then he says
"its like the consistency of applesauce, but not really its like shredded pineapple, but its like applesauce, well more like shredded pineapple chunks, but the consistency is more like applesauce, but its actually like pineapple chunks that are shredded you know?" and we laughed and he did this like 5 more times, literally. It was pretty hilarious
