I've recently become aware that college time is a lot different than normal or (non-college) time.
What happens to time during one's stay at college, is it is a mixture of slow and fast.
I will explain my reasearch further now
First of all, this study only applies so far to BYU, this reason is unknown, but i have some conjectures that it might have something to do with BYU's difficulty level, as well as the lack of alcohol consumption.
Now then.
It seems that some sort of vortex or strange waves of radiation are emitted from the top of the Spencer W. Kimball Tower. I have not yet begun to understand the radiation, where it comes from, or how it works. Further study is required though i have seen its effects
It seems that it slows down the days, but it also makes the days go by faster. Strange i know! What this means is the days are long and labouruos and one single day feels like a whole week of normal time. It goes faster, because in reality the days that feel like weeks are only days, and they are so full of things to do that they go by quickly.
Now this may not seem like such a big phenomenon, and its not from day to day but now we shall look at the overall affects
After one semester of school (which is typically 4months) has the same affect on a college student, as a year for a normal person. So these students experience a years worth of life in four months. Now take a year in normal time, for the BYU college student that would be a little less than 4 years. These students experience four years of life for one normal year!
Therefore these students are aging faster than normal non-byu people!
This has lead me to reason that this is why so many BYU students get married (young) in the eyes of the rest of the world, because if their time was the same as normal time they wouldn't be young.
I still have much research to do on the topic,
i will keep you posted with more information
